#SocialLeader Chat: “Your Voice as a Social Leader: Are You Inspiring Action?”

The #SocialLeader community continued on a roll this past Monday with “Horrible Bosses: How to Help the Anti-Social Leader.” And this week, we kick it up another notch!

Don’t miss our next chat: Monday, May 11th at 8pm ET when we look inward for, “Your Voice as a Social Leader: Are You Inspiring Action?”

The reality is that even us Blue Unicorns – the truly social leaders – are still making the transition from the old-school approach we were taught to a more social leadership style. We’re still learning what works and what doesn’t; where the line is drawn between “feels good” and “gets good results” – and the difference in talking action… versus taking action.

In other words, we’re finding our voice; we’re learning how to provide “actionable inspiration.”

To help us through this journey, here’s just some of what we’ll discuss on Monday:

  • The challenges we face when finding – and refining – our voice as a social leader
  • How not to resort to dictate-and-delegate, but to inspire action from those we lead
  • How our core values – and alignment with our organization’s mission – help form our voice as a leader
