This Is How Employee Engagement Is Changing

There’s a lot of talk going around about the best ways to achieve and maintain employee engagement. But the truth is that there’s no one answer for every industry, organization, or employee. The real secret to employee engagement is keeping up with the latest trends that affect your company.

The infographic below — created by Quantum Workplace, a company with an employee feedback platform designed to make work better each day — features the results of their 2016 Employee Engagement Trends survey. The survey looked at overall trends as well as those occurring within different demographics.

Some highlights include:

  • Nonprofit employees are 4.5% less engaged than in 2014.
  • While 77.6% of new employees are engaged, that declines to 63.2% by year 6 of employment.
  • Having leaders who are committed to making the organization a great place to work is the number one factor driving engagement.
