#SocialLeader Recap: 1-Year Anniversary: The State of Social Leadership

#SocialLeader chat celebrated it’s 1st anniversary on Monday night. We’ve spent the last year discussing social leadership. We’ve defined it. We’ve refined it. We’ve lived it.

But what have we learned? What’s different today than one year ago? And where do we go from here?

On Monday, we took some time to discuss those questions and a few others. Here are a few of our favorite takeaways:

  • The number of quality connections we’ve made has been the biggest surprise in the last year
  • Social leadership is about relationships and connections
  • Reverse mentoring is a great place to start to convince old school leaders to adapt
