ExchangeGain: A Better Way to Manage and Lead

In science fiction movies it’s not uncommon to have a human inhabited planet in danger of extinction: alien takeovers, colliding planets, or a star threatening super nova. Such peril is exaggerated to highlight some humanitarian message. That message often seeks to enroll us in a better way of living or thinking.

The good stuff imbued in the message of a “better way” provides the foundation for ExchangeGain. There are better ways businesses can keep and get customers, turn a profit, and most importantly retain and partner with employees.

ExchangeGain covers topics of what it takes for managers and employees to lead in the 21st century. We want to show you a way of succeeding in a new era where humanity and business are a great couple, your values are honored, and doing good for others is a competitive advantage.

Why Switch?

  • Switch represents a conscious choice to manage or lead with a focus on people.
  • The switch is to help employees pull meaning from their work
  • The switch is to partner with and not command employees
  • The switch is to open leadership

Why Shift?
Shift represents action, forward movement. It’s one thing to switch over your thinking to different or new ways of managing or leading. It’s transformative when action follows thought.

We aren’t facing cataclysmic realities alluded to in the opening of this post. But some businesses are facing cataclysmic endings. Some are looking to begin. Others are looking to bounce back.

How you switch your participation and thinking and shift into action by bringing people together can model a better way for you, your team, your organization.

Welcome to ExchangeGain. We’re glad you’re curious. We’re even happier you’re willing.

  • There’s a more human way to do business.

In the Social Age, it’s how we engage with customers, collaborators and strategic partners that matters; it’s how we create workplace optimism that sets us apart; it’s how we recruit, retain (and repel) employees that becomes our differentiator. This isn’t a “people first, profits second” movement, but a “profits as a direct result of putting people first” movement.
